Just don't!

People saying shit like "proud to be Indian, proud to be a sikh, proud to be mumbaikar, etc etc" when they read about someone from that community doing some awesome stuff.
Why exactly are you proud of? That you accidently happen to be born in the same community as that person?
Satya Nadella became CEO of Microsoft. oh, I am proud to be an Indian. Why? He became the CEO because he worked hard for it. It was his achievement. You did absolutely nothing and you have nothing to be proud of.

"Sikhs in gurudwaras fed tourists for free during demonetization" - Proud to be a Sikh.
Why? Did you do anything? You as a person. If you were a part of that whole process in gurudwaras, then sure you should be proud of what you are and what you did. But if not, then you did dogshit.
You just like to sit , do nothing and be proud of shit that you had no part in.
